Little Gasparilla is a small barrier island located across the Intracoastal Waterway from Cape Haze and Placida, Florida. Only accessible by boat, this rustic island provides its residents and guests with a glimpse of coastal Florida in it's natural state. 10 minutes South of Englewood, 40 minutes South of Sarasota, and, only minutes away from the tremendous Boca Grande Pass, this small island is filled with affordable vacation homes only steps away from some of the most beautiful beaches of Southwest Florida.
Surrounded by Placida Harbor, Gasparilla Pass, the Gulf of Mexico, Charlotte Harbor and Lemon Bay, Little Gasparilla Island fishing offers some of the most productive year-round waters found anywhere in the US. This scenic area offers everything a beginning or advanced angler could want including freshwater and brackish river mouths, mangrove lined salt creeks, expansive grass flats, miles of oyster bars, many deepwater passes, holes and even offshore wrecks, reefs and other structure.
This extremely diverse ecosystem is what allows us to successfully target so many highly sought after gamefish.
