HOW TO MAKE YOUR RESERVATION
There are many factors affecting the outcome of your trip including the time of year, weather, tide, your target species, etc. To ensure the highest level of success on your trip, we suggest that you CONTACT US by phone or email with your desired dates and times, as well as what you would like to do on your trip. This allows us to work together to schedule your visit for a time that is convenient for you, and a time which will produce the best results.

As far as seasons for each species, our FISH page has prime seasons for most of our target species. This is only a loose reference for prime seasons, many times we will catch 5, 6, or even 10 different species on a single trip. For example we list the prime time for Tarpon fishing as April-October, but Tarpon can be caught in our waters with some reliability year round! Please CONTACT THE CAPTAIN if you have any questions or concerns about when to book your trip.

PICK UP LOCATIONS
You have several options for pick-up and drop-off. Pick-up can be arranged at your dock, or the closest convenient location to you that allows for commercial charter pick-up. You are also welcome to meet us at our marina, the beautiful Cape Haze Marina Bay, by far the areas most friendly and safe full service marina. The marina is conveniently located and easy to find. When you arrive at Cape Haze Marina for your trip with Captain Tom you will be provided with plenty of free parking just steps away from the boat.

Drop-off can be arranged at either the location where you were picked up, or one of the many waterfront dining locations surrounding Charlotte Harbor. You must provide your own ground transportation if necessary following your trip. Please discuss these options with the captain prior to departing on your charter.

While we try to accommodate most pick-ups for no extra fee, there are circumstances where we will be required to charge a small fuel surcharge. Please discuss this with Captain Tom when you are making your arrangements.

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICIES
Payment is accepted by cash, check, Visa, Mastercard and American Express. A deposit amount of $100 per half day and $200 per full day is required at the time of your reservation. If you wish to pay by cash or check, payment in full must be received no later than 14 days prior to your trip, or you must have a credit card with sufficient available balance on file (this card will not be charged except in the case of a no-show or late cancellation.).

Your deposit is refundable in full up to 2 weeks prior to your reserved date. Cancellations less than 2 weeks prior will result in forfeiture of the deposit amount. Cancellations less than 24 hours prior, and no-shows will be charged for the full price of their scheduled trip. NO EXCEPTIONS.

If extenuating circumstances arise, please contact Captain Tom and he will try his best to reschedule your trip for a time that will be both convenient and productive.

WEATHER POLICIES
Your enjoyment, fishing success, and safety depend on your Captains accurate analysis of the weather. Captain Tom will have the final say in trip cancellation due to weather. We do not cancel trips due to rain, however we will try to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. Some of our best fishing days have been during heavy rain.

There are certain weather events that will significantly decrease the quality of fishing. Should the Captain make the determination that these events have, or are likely to take place, he will contact you about the situation and give you options regarding possible rescheduling or changes in tactics and target species.
